When the wine is fermented, the low pH is not it?
I ask because in my bio lab we fermented wine. The problem is that the bottle does not add the sugar and kept without oxygen had a pH increase.Is this suppose to happen??
If there are acids, and CO2 from alcohol and water, and the pH must fall … but: "Whether the grapes are pressed immediately after crushing or let stand on the skin for the extraction of flavor before pressing once that the sample of juice has been settled and cleared, acid and pH readings must be accurate.
