Advice about the girlfriend who thinks it's okay to take something on the way home from work?
My girlfriend sometimes a beer at home from work (about twice a week). Also some drinks at night. He is not really a drinker, but I'm starting to worry. I've had a boyfriend in the past to die after drinking a few beers and drove home after watching Monday Night Football, so this worries me and makes me think of what could happen again. Any advice? He sees nothing wrong with that.
I would talk to him concern. Tell her you are worried because her ex-boyfriend died in a accident after drinking and is concerned when someone drinks and drives. Most people are not alcoholics, but many drinkers are problem drinkers and not rational decisions when they had a few drinks, especially when driving is concerned. You can start with 2, but then becomes 3 or 4 and not the continuation of his trial is needed and may end up drinking a lot more drinks because you think you are well before driving home. I've been there where I drank too much and went and not a good thing to do. I especially avoid if I am taking more than a few that I do in my local pub that I address that is only 4 blocks from my house.
