How to fix a slow faucet?
My water kitchen faucet features single, both to handle the hot and cold water. Recently, it becomes difficult to turn the water. I move the drive around to find a good position to have runing water. If I lift the top handle, instead of getting more water, the water stopped. What could be the problem and how to fix? Thanks for any advice
You can buy the repair kit at any good hardware store. Simply take the brand name of the key with you. If you are unsure, take the key apart and take the guts with you. You're buying a package which has a steel ball with a mother who leaves her and two small springs and two rubber grommets. Turn off both water supply lines in the tap. Remove the center cover to remove the two screws holding the handle. Once the grip is the way you have a good set of tongs for expansion joint remove the ring holding the rest of the key down. The ring grooves have around to help loosen. Once the ring is loosened gradually remove the ring hand. There will be some water coming out, but want to ensure that will not get a big spray, so remove slowly. Using a small screwdriver or tweezers to remove the two rubber washers and springs underneath. Clean the inside of this area if necessary, then replace everything that was removed. (The ball can only go one way and ensure that the springs are seated before you install) Once done, turn the water supply and check for leaks
