Jaw Teeth

Jaw Teeth
I know a mouth guard protects your jaw and teeth, but HOW DOES IT WORK?

You put in your mouth and bite into it. But you can still give a kick in the mouth and can still hit your teeth. So im wondering how does it work? Thank you very much.

hello, darb d mentions a good point, but unprocessed. we developed. biting down on a mouthpiece that is "marry" the jaw to the skull, which increases the integrity of the structure. this is similar to "package" of your shoulder down to his body, instead of letting the shoulder "floating." now. two benefits come from increasing the integrity the structure of his jaw. one: it is more difficult to break the jaw or teeth, because instead of each component (the jaw, teeth singles) fend for itself, the impact is more evenly distributed throughout the "married" structure. two: d darb mentioned concussion. this is not exactly the case. a common cause of "knock out" is the jaw and moved to be impacted (with violence) against maxilliary nerve. extends from the skull through the jaw, where the two bones (the hinge). there is usually a "floating" space there. if the jaw is suddenly "jar" against the skull, this nerve is pinched. resulting feedback to the central nervous system causes "knock out". spokespersons restrict jaw capacity to act against the skull, due to the pressure exerted by the muscles of the jaw (while stationary jaw). Does this make sense? thanks

Akan knife and sheath Photo Mugs

Akan knife and sheath. The sheath has a shell and a lead model of human teeth attached to it. The red-dyed shell is characteristic of Baule culture (from the Ivory Coast), while the human jaw is more typical of the Akan people (from present-day Ghana) and suggests a trophy attached to the knife to indicate the power of its owner. It is likely that this knife and sheath are the result of cultural i…
