That depends. There is a well known brand called "Dawes" Horse Black Ale ", which was produced in this country are imported into New York from 1948 to 1952 …. Their bottles and cans and promotional items appear to be popular with collectors of these things. It is also a bottled later than Trenton, New Jersey in the 70s. For the present, there is a Blackhorse Pub in TN that produces a Black Horse Ale, but I could not tell if it is similar to any of the ancients.
