Miracle or coincidence?

When he was 14 years after my mother died of leukemia that he wanted some kind of evidence that there is afterlife, so I know to see my mother again. Late at night in the crowded field of stars in the sky, I asked my mom with her head bowed to ask send me a sign that the afterlife exists and that she is still alive in another dimension. As soon as I put my head a great shot Shooting Star along the sky. Do you think this was a sign of my mother in the afterlife / a miracle or a coincidence? Shooting Stars does not happen very often to begin and what is the probability that occurs just after praying?
