With levels of diabetes and obesity reaching epidemic in America, do we really need fried Coke?
Abel Gonzalez, 36, a systems analyst from Dallas, tried about 15 different varieties before coming with his perfect recipe – a mixture of paste made with Coca-Cola syrup, a splash of strawberry syrup and some strawberries. Balls of dough are fried then pong, ping-size ending up as pancakes which are then served in a cup with Coca-Cola syrup, whipped cream, with cinnamon sugar and a cherry on top.
Whoa … Sounds like a nightmare for me … all the sugar it would play havoc with my dreams! And, yes, what next? Sugar fried?
