Place to go "beer lovers bday" boyfriend in the NYC area?
My boyfriend's birthday is coming and I'm trying to think of something funny for us to do together that would enjoy. HE LOVES beer and loves going to breweries, or just fun places with good beer on tap. We in the New York area so anything in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Staten Island, would be ideal. Any ideas?
Consult micro breweries and places with lots of beers on tap. One year my wife took an art class earlier in the day on the Saturday closest to my birthday (also the end of week's Michigan-Ohio State). She left me a couple of miles from a Fox & Hound that has 36 taps. I had a lovely walk at the beginning of winter, played NTN Trivia, watched some great game of college football rivalry week, many drank beers with my wife and a group of friends who showed up for "Miketoberfest" (which held the third or fourth week of November) and not have to worry about anything else to do since the bar of my car.
