He is drinking from an aluminum can for the environment better than a plastic bottle?
Suppose I recycle, so after drinking. Could it be soda or anything else. I mainly ask because of the new prohibitions in some areas of bottled water. What a tough question! In my opinion, it is better to drink from an aluminum can, if recycled, but only slightly better than drinking a bottle of recycled plastic. The reason I think the aluminum would be better is that not a petroleum based product. Yes, yes to energy demand in both the manufacturing and recycling, but not all energy comes from oil. However, with a plastic bottle, takes the oil to make, energy to produce, and energy to recycle. Recycling is also a little messy, the plastic can be recycled beverage container in the back. The aluminum can, moreover can be done in beverage containers several times. Truly recyclable. Now all of Minnesota has to do is start a petition to vote for a project bottle bill to voters.
